After completing her MBBS from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, she did MD in Internal Medicine from BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai and DM and DNB in Endocrinology from KEM Hospital, Mumbai.
Later she received a Fellowship in Advanced Endocrinology from Princess Alexandra Hospital, Australia. She is an active member of the Endocrine Society of India and the National Academy of Medical Sciences.
