Dr. Ankur Phatarpekar is an Interventional Cardiologist with 14+ years of experience. He is a respected member of organizations such as the American College of Cardiology, Cardiology Society of India, and the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI).
He has completed his MBBS from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College and Hospital in Navi Mumbai, MD, and then DM Cardiology from the prestigious Seth G. S. Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He has performed more than 300 PCI procedures as a primary operator including 50 primary angioplasties in myocardial infarction (PAMI).
Dr. Phatarpekar has vast experience in diagnostic procedures like 2D echocardiography, pediatric and fetal echocardiography, and dobutamine stress echocardiography as showcased in newer imaging modalities such as strain echo and 3D echocardiography. He has conducted several interventional trials and has more than 30 international publications to his name.
