After completing her MBBS, she pursued MD from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore. She also did DNB from Mayurbhanj Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Baripada, Baripada. She is a member of the Indian Medical Association, AROI, IBS, and ASTRO.
