• Prabal Roy has established the Department of GI Surgery at Escorts Hospital & Research Centre Faridabad, Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad QRG Health City, and Metro Heart Institute with Multispeciality, Faridabad.
• Dr. Prabal Roy pioneered in establishing VATS and Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery in Northern India and has successfully carried out procedures like cholecysytectomies, appendectomies & hernia surgeries – innovating the technique of Transfacial Umbilical Multiport Laparoscopy (TUMP). The technique has many peer reviewed international publications to his credit.
• Dr. Prabal Roy is the first surgeon in the state of Haryana to introduce and establish a bariatric & metabolic surgery program which include Gastric Sleeve Resection, Roux en Y Gastric Bypass, Mini Gastric Bypass and Revisional Bariatric Surgery.
