Dr RJ Chaudhary is a Consultant Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplant Surgeon in Institute of Liver Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine, Medanta – the Medicity, Gurugram. He started his journey in the field of Liver Transplantation in the year 2014 and since then, he is involved in >1500 Liver Transplant including Living Donor Liver Transplantation (LDLT), Deceased Donor Liver Transplantation (DDLT) in both Adult and Paediatric age groups and >700 complex hepatobiliary surgeries. Dr. Chaudhary’ areas of special interest include Hilar Cholangiocarcinoma, Colorectal Liver metastasis and LDLT and he has several publications in key peer reviewed international journals on these subjects.
He has contributed to improvements in surgical techniques, critical care management and fast recovery of patients. He endeavours to make liver transplantation affordable and within the reach of common Indian masses. He aims to revolutionize the current concepts of Hepatobiliary surgery by innovation in the field of robotic surgery. Dr. RJ Chaudhary is also an advocate for organ donation and has participated in many campaigns to encourage the masses for organ donation.
