Dr. Abraham had completed his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, in 1991. Later on, in 1994, he completed his MD in General Medicine – Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. He obtained his advanced degree in cardiology i.e. DM in 1998 from the same University. Dr. Abraham passed DNB-Cardiology in 1998. He has more than 20 years of clinical experience and is an expert in performing cardiac surgery with high ease. Currently, he is working as Consultant-cardiology at Apollo hospitals in Chennai. He is an expert in Preventive Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Rheumatic Heart Disease and Lipidology.
Dr. Abraham is a professional member of various prestigious organizations such as the American College of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
Dr. Abraham has presented various papers at the European society of cardiology and the American Association of Cardiology. Dr. Abraham also performs Angioplasty, Mitral Valve Repair, Transesophageal Echocardiogram, and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator surgeries.
