Dr. Anil Bhatia is a seasoned Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon with 28+ years of experience. He is a professional member of reputed organizations such as the Maharashtra Medical Council, Indian Orthopedic Association, Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand, Club Narakas Europe, and the President of Brachial Plexus Surgery Group of India.
He did his MBBS from LTM Medical College, Sion, Mumbai in 1985, and later completed his post-graduate qualification in Orthopedics from the same college in 1990. He has operated on more than 950 cases of Post – Traumatic and Obstetrical Brachial Plexus Palsies from all parts of India and provides a detailed insight into clinical patterns of brachial plexus injuries, surgical techniques indications for surgery, delay in appearance of results and quality of function restored in cases.
Dr. Bhatia is the only Indian in “Club Narakas”- The international club of Brachial Plexus surgeons, and he is also the Organizing Secretary of the 2nd Biennial Meeting of the Brachial Plexus Surgery Group of India, Wockhardt Hospital, Mumbai.
He mastered in various fields such as Joint Replacement- primary and revision, Arthroscopy & Sports Injuries, Trauma, Pediatric Orthopedics, Musculoskeletal imaging aided minimally invasive procedures, etc.
He has written for publications and has contributed to national and international research articles.
