Dr. Balkrishna Padate is a notable Hematologist with over 24 years of experience. After completing his MBBS from Mumbai University (GSMC and KEM Hospital) in 1998, he achieved MD (Internal Medicine) from Mumbai University (LTM and Sion Hospital) in 2003.
His areas of interest include Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplantation, Clinical Hematology, Blood and Bone Marrow Cancers, Acute and Chronic Leukemia, Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Thrombosis and Bleeding Disorders, Amyloidosis, etc.
He also achieved MRCP (Medicine) from The Royal College of Physicians, UK, in 2006, FRCPATH (Hematology and BMT) from The Royal College of Pathologists, UK, in 2009, and CCST (Hematology and BMT) – The Royal College of Pathologist, UK in 2011. He has trained and taught national and international students and doctors for several years.
Dr. Padate also published several publications & book chapters and moderated several symposia, panel discussions, and debates.
