Dr Dimple Ahluwalia is a Senior Consultant in Department of Gynaecology and Gynaec-Oncology at Medanta The Medicity.
She is one of the few clinical fellowship trained laparoscopic surgeon in India with one year hands on fellowship under mentorship of internationally renowned minimal invasive surgeon and a pioneer in gynecological advanced laparoscopy. She brings in expertise from best national and international centers in the field of Gynecological Oncology and Robotic surgery. She has an exposure of managing complex gynecological cancers from Tata Memorial Hospital, Kolkata and has undergone advanced robotic training from University of Miami, USA.
Her vast experience in managing benign and malignant gynecological conditions in a minimal invasive manner includes advanced laparoscopy and -3-D endoscopy surgery. She has been performing complex laparoscopic gynecological procedures since 2013 and has performed more than 1000 complex laparoscopic surgeries including Total laparoscopic hysterectomy for large uterus, Scarred uterus, Pelvic adhesions, Myomectomy, conservative surgeries in deep endometriosis, ovarian lesions, ectopic pregnancy and fertility enhancing surgeries. She is also an expert in all types of operative and diagnostic hysteroscopic procedures and all open and vaginal surgeries.
Her clinical practice is driven by her passion towards evidence based medicine and research. She has published multiple papers in international peer reviewed indexed journals.
