Dr. Gurvinder Singh Sawhney is a renowned Orthopedic surgeon, who has been practicing for the last 35 years. He holds expertise in joint replacements, fracture treatment, joint dislocation, neck pain, knee pain, frozen shoulder treatment, arthritis, knee replacement, and many others.
Dr. Sawhney completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital Mumbai in 1982, followed by MS in Orthopedics in 1985, where he ranked 3rd in his University. Additionally, he did FCPS in Orthopedics from College of Physicians and Surgeons Mumbai in 1986.
He received Dr. Dastook Gold Medal for 1st Rank in FCPS Orthopedics in 1986. He also received SarvaShree Award Mumbai in 2005. He has acquired a Fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery from Singapore General Hospital in 1987. He is presently a member of Indian Orthopedic Association and Indian Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery.
