Dr. Jamwal has worked extensively in the field of Fatty Liver, GI bleeding, Biliary tract disorders, Advanced Endoscopy Procedures in Liver Diseases and also worked on Fecal Microbiota Transplantation. His clinical interest lies in NAFLD and its spectrum, Bile and its metabolism, Enterohepatic circulation, Biliary tree including Gall bladder, bile duct and pancreas, GI bleed and portal Hemodynamics.
Before joining Artemis, he has worked in Dharamshila Narayana Super Specialty Hospital where he was working as Sr. Consultant and Clinical Lead in the Department of Gastroenterology Center for Liver and Digestive Diseases. Prior to this, he was associated with Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences where he was associated as Assistant Professor.
He has represented India in multiple academic and business forums on International levels such as DDW, APDW, AASLD and Indo US Biopharma Summit. During his tenure at ILBS he visited Kyushu University Japan for training in Mucosal dissection and third space Endoscopy. He also visited the Department of Advanced Endoscopy at the prestigious Mayo Clinic Rochester Minnesota in USA where he learned the techniques of complex ERCP’s and learned the usage of mucosal suturing devices. He has numerous publications in International and National journals to his credit.
