After completing MBBS from SMS Medical College Jaipur, he completed MD in General Medicine from Dr. S N Medical College Jodhpur. He did a senior residency in Safdarjung and GB Pant Hospital. After completing DM in gastroenterology, he has worked with many hospitals of national repute. he has performed more than 10000 endoscopic procedure including ERCPs, polypectomy, hemorrhoidal management, and GI cancer diagnostic procedures. He has national and international publications on various gastroenterology related topics.
