Dr. Bhattacharjee is a trained radiation oncologist, with a specialization in 3D- Conformal Radiotherapy (3D CRT) for breast, stomach, lymphoma, head and neck cancers, stereotactic radiosurgery (brain tumor) and extracranial tumors.
The Doctor also specializes in Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) for prostate, glioblastoma multiforme, head and neck cancers, brachytherapy (LDR and HDR), cervical cancer, and perineal implants. His areas of special interest include interstitial implants in cervical cancer, intraluminal brachytherapy in esophageal cancer, irradiation for packed blood cells for transfusion, cranial irradiation in acute lymphoblastic lymphoma.
Dr. Bhattacharjee has worked as a Resident Registrar in the department of radiation therapy and radiation oncology. He has treated over 7000 patients and also discovered a new immunomodifier.
