Dr. Shishir Shetty is a well-known Surgical Oncologist with more than 16+ years of experience in the field. He is an Active Member of the Maharastra Medical Council, Indian Society of Oncologist (ISO), Indian Medical Association (IMA), Mumbai Oncology Association (MOA), and Indian Association of Cancer Research (IACR).
He has served as the Director of Oncology Services – Fortis Hospital, Head Oncology Services, and DY Patil Hospital, Navi Mumbai. He has worked on approximately 7500 cancer surgeries in Navi Mumbai & Raigad district and has been honored as the first qualified surgical oncologist from Tata Memorial Hospital, Navi Mumbai.
Dr. Shetty has over 240 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals & book chapters and has carried out over 95 research projects related to radiation oncology. His specialization lies in Trachea, Lung, Liver and Pancreatic, Breast surgeries, Complex Thoracic Surgery, Hepato-Biliary Surgery, Colorectal, and Uro-Gynaec Oncology, etc.
