Dr Srilathaa is a Cornea, Cataract and Refractive surgeon trained from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi. She has expertise in all kinds of corneal transplantation techniques – full thickness, lamellar, endothelial keratoplasties and keratoprosthesis. She has first hand experience in treating large number of corneal infections. Having performed large number of FemtoLASIK, Contoura and ICL surgeries, she takes keen interest in providing safe and optimal refractive surgical solution for every eye. She is proficient in cataract surgery with implantation of various types of premium intraocular lenses. She has made many presentations at national and international conferences and has many publications to her credit. She was recently awarded Santen educational grant from the Asia Cornea Society to undergo further training in Singapore National Eye Centre. Before joining Fortis, she has been instrumental in setting up and spearheaded the cornea and Refractive surgery services at Medanta the Medicity, Gurgaon for over 6 years. During her tenure there, she initiated the Hospital Cornea Retrieval Program which was a huge success.
