Dr. Sumit Sharma is urologist and kidney transplantation expert with 10+ years of experience. He was awarded First prize at Young Surgeon Paper Presentation Contest at NZASI.
He started Kidney Transplantation Program at multiple hospitals namely, Alchemist Hospitals and Columbia Asia Hospital.
He is the only surgeon in Northern India to routinely offer minimally invasive Retroperitoneoscopic ablative and reconstructive surgeries.
He is a member of Urological Society of India, North Zone USI and Indian Society of organ Transplantation.
His areas of interest include female voiding dysfunction, kidney transplantation, minimally invasive laparoscopic reconstructive and uro-oncological procedures, natural orifices urinary stone surgeries and management of urological problems.
Dr. Sharma is a regular speaker at the national conference of Urological and Surgical Societies.
