He did MBBS from Grant Medical College, JJ Hospital, Mumbai, MD in general medicine from Grant Medical College, Mumbai, DM in gastroenterology and DNB in gastroenterology from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College, Mumbai.
He did training in liver diseases from King’s College Hospital, UK and training in endoscopy from University Hospital, Germany.
