Dr. Vishwanath Jigjinni is a reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgeon with more than 40 years of expertise in this field. He earned a degree in MBBS from BJ Govt. Medical College, Pune, 1979, MS General Surgery – BJ Govt. Medical College, Pune, 1984 and FRCS Plastic Surgery from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (RCPS), Glasgow, 1990.
Dr. Alex Ginsburg, one of Israel’s greatest hair restoration surgeons, has also given him specific training in hair transplantation. He is interested in academia and has presented papers at British and Indian conferences in addition to clinical practise.
He has contributed chapters to American and Indian text books and has written numerous articles in British medical magazines. He is a member of the Sushrut Association of Plastic Surgeons, Association of Plastic Surgeons of India, Pune Orthopedic Society, Pune Surgical Society, Association of Hair Transplant Surgeons of India and Indian Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery.
