Laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy is a type of partial hysterectomy that involves surgical removal of the diseased uterus without poking the ovaries and the cervix. The procedure uses a tiny tube called a laparoscope attached to a telescope and a light to view the inner surface of the pelvic structure and the abdomen.
